Description

Gordon B. Evans (1926-2010) studied at Los Angeles’ Chouinards Art Institute, Massachusetts’ Jerry Farnsworth School of Art, New York’s Art Student League, Paris’ La Grande Chaumiere, and privately in Rome. Throughout his life he created from his Hermosa Beach, California studio. Representative exhibits were at the New York National Academy of Design, Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington D.C., Los Angeles County Museum, and Galleria la Cassapanca, Rome, He was represented by the Landau Gallery, Beverly Hills, California and Herve in Paris, France.
